Volunteer coaches play a vital role in the operation of Lemoore Youth Soccer League. They are the heart of the league and they help provide a healthy, enjoyable, and developmentally appropriate experience for children. Without their support, the kids wouldn’t get to learn the game of soccer and love it! Lemoore Youth Soccer coaches come from a variety of backgrounds and reasons why they want to coach. Some include former soccer players, people who want to make a difference in their community, and the main reason people volunteer to coach would be to help their children that are in our recreational program. Whether you have prior experience or not we believe that coaching soccer will enrich your life.
- Connect with your child and become teachers or mentors to other children
- Build relationships
- Model the commitment to volunteering and commitment
- Development of players technical, tactical, physical soccer skills, yet also their psycho-social life of becoming leaders and teammates
- Feel prideful in players growth and accomplishments
- Coaching is FUN- Lot of engage with kids laughing and running around/exercising
